We are humane farmers, so the animals come first. The rest comes natural -- healthy stock and delicious meat that is as good for you as it is good to eat.
At 7th Heaven Farm, great pride is taken in raising happy animals. I (the owner and operator) believe that the environment in which the animals live, as well as the treatment, transportation and processing method are as important as the diet. It is easy to feed an all-natural diet, the trick is creating a loving, clean, stress free environment where the animals feel secure, safe and loved. The result is happy, healthy and strong stock, and top quality meats and eggs.
7th Heaven Farm LLC is a grass fed farm. At our farm, grass fed is not just a diet, it is a way of life; a life that graciously meets the needs of our animals and consumers. Our animals are pasture raised; they range freely, grazing on pasture and browsing in the wood spring through fall. During the winter months, they are still free to roam, however their diet consists of various types of baled hay and grasses.
At 7th Heaven Farm, animals are never confined and they are free to exhibit their natural behavior. Our farm is about the
humane treatment of the animals. We believe that their health and happiness is a product of their environment, diet and treatment. Accordingly, we strive to prodvide them with:
* a clean environment where they can exhibit their natural behavor
* a natural diey that promotes healthy growth; and
* a loving, safe home where they are protected from hard.
At 7th Heaven Farm, all of our animals have access to top quality feed stuff, water and minerals 24/7. I inspect the health of my animals daily. Those that enjoy human contact are petted, hugged and loved. This gives me an opportunity to physically inspect them daily. Those animals that do not appreciate a daily rub down are physically inspected once a month. All of the animals are observed multiple times a day to ensure that they are in good health. At 7th Heaven Farm the animals have a sense of security; they are relaxed and live the easy life.
The Farm is located in Burlington County, Tabernacle, NJ: about 30 miles south of Philadelphia, PA and 30 miles west of Long Beach Island, NJ. Our seven and a half acre farm is home to diminishing and/or rare breeds of livestock, including sheep, goats, cattle, poultry and fowl. Olde English Southdown 'Babydoll' and Dorset sheep, Belted Galloway and Highland cattle, South African Boer and miniature goats, heritage turkey, a Kune Kune pig, and exotic guinea- and pea-fowl reside happily with us. We produce top quality breeding stock, feeder stock and lovable pets.
